The Lorenz Ranch consists of hayable acreage, sub-irrigated acres, grazing land and densely wooded acreage. The ranch borders 40 ac. of Denver Mountain Park land that is inaccessible to the general public.

The improvements consist of: the 1,970 sq.ft. main house, built in 1930, appears to be solid but is dated, has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms; the 99 sq.ft. original homestead house has been lovingly re-modeled and serves as a saloon and gathering space. The bunkhouse, which is in the process of being re-modeled has 1,380 sq.ft.+/-, 2 bedrooms and a loft.

Other structures include a 720 sq.ft. barn with hay storage and tack room has 2 stalls; the 697 sq.ft. barn has 2 stalls and upper level hay storage. There are two pole barns: 868 sq.ft. and 697 sq.ft. respectively. Additional improvements include a workshop with a 4-bay garage for equipment and vehicle storage, and miscellaneous other smaller storage sheds.

The corrals are in need of repair or replacement. The improvements and the improvement area have been well maintained over the years.

There is one adjudicated domestic well and 9 adjudicated springs which provide livestock water, sub-irrigation for some pasture areas, and water for a pond.
